Compliance

Directflight has held an AOC since 1983 and conducts all its operations in full compliance with EU OPS tailored to suit the specific requirements of each category of operation.  In addition, a CAA approved Safety Management System (SMS) ensures a continuous process of pro active and re active risk evaluation and mitigation that ensures safe, efficient and regulatory compliant operations in accordance with ICAO recommendation and UK CAA mandate. Directflight is also a registered BS EN  ISO 9001:2008 company.

Directflight operates and maintains a Quality Management System (QMS), which satisfies the requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to achieve and maintain continued compliance with EU OPS.  The prime objective is to monitor, audit and inspect all activities through the QMS in order to verify that all aircraft operations and maintenance are being conducted in accordance with the applicable EASA requirements, standards and procedures. By this means Directflight ensures safe operational practices and airworthy aircraft.

The approved Quality Management Manual, Operations Manual, Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME) and the Safety Management System ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations and any legal or statutory requirements, environmental, health and safety legislation, rules, regulations, guidelines and relevant codes of practice.  Directflight requires that all aircrew, ground-crew, support and engineering personnel comply with the above procedures and protocols and report any non-compliance or defects, actual or potential, to enable timely corrective action and future avoidance.
